2023 Vocap Summer Analyst

Our team is comprised of successful operators and investors with decades of institutional investment and software operating experience. We focus on Series A stage investments in B2B software companies in the following sectors: healthcare, fintech, business productivity, supply chain, and mediatech. Our firm has built a strong track record of finding innovative companies and delivering a value-added process to help accelerate their growth. We are currently looking for a bright, highly motivated individual to assist in all areas of venture capital investing and portfolio management. You will be joining and learning from a tight knit, collaborative team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This position is not a path to a full-time position. This is a paid internship.

Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing: Supporting deal sourcing efforts including list building, direct outreach to entrepreneurs, and continual process analysis and improvement
  • Due Diligence: Supporting due diligence on prospective investments, including analyzing companies and mapping industries
  • Portfolio support: Analyzing performance across portfolio
  • Marketing & biz dev: Coordinating and executing Vocap marketing strategy including managing newsletter, drafting blog posts, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Rising undergraduate Sophomore or Junior
  • Pursuing a business and/or technical degree
  • GPA of at least 3.5/4.0
  • Knowledge and skills in finance, accounting, financial analysis, and data analysis
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Self-starter with a strong passion for technology and entrepreneurship
  • Strong reader, writer, and speaker
  • Independent and critical thinker

This role will be located in Vocap’s Atlanta (Midtown) office. This is an in-person role.
